ترجمه  

 (۱) مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّی مَالِیَهْ ﴿الحاقة: ٢٨﴾   

"Of no profit to me has been my wealth! (69: 28) 

 (۲) مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا کَسَبَ ﴿المسد: ٢﴾   

No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! (111: 2) 

 (۳) وَمَا یُغْنِی عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰ ﴿اللیل: ١١﴾   

Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit). (92: 11) 

 (۴) مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا کَانُوا یُمَتَّعُونَ ﴿الشعراء: ٢٠٧﴾   

It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! (26: 207) 

 (۵) فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا کَانُوا یَکْسِبُونَ ﴿الحجر: ٨٤﴾   

And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! (15: 84) 

 (۶) قَدْ قَالَهَا الَّذِینَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا کَانُوا یَکْسِبُونَ ﴿الزمر: ٥٠﴾   

Thus did the (generations) before them say! But all that they did was of no profit to them. (39: 50) 

 (۷) قُلِ انظُرُوا مَاذَا فِی السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُغْنِی الْآیَاتُ وَالنُّذُرُ عَن قَوْمٍ لَّا یُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿یونس: ١٠١﴾   

Say: "Behold all that is in the heavens and on earth"; but neither Signs nor Warners profit those who believe not. (10: 101) 

 (۸) وَنَادَىٰ أَصْحَابُ الْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالًا یَعْرِفُونَهُم بِسِیمَاهُمْ قَالُوا مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنکُمْ جَمْعُکُمْ وَمَا کُنتُمْ تَسْتَکْبِرُونَ ﴿الأعراف: ٤٨﴾   

The men on the heights will call to certain men whom they will know from their marks, saying: "Of what profit to you were your hoards and your arrogant ways? (7: 48) 

 (۹) وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَٰکِن ظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فَمَا أَغْنَتْ عَنْهُمْ آلِهَتُهُمُ الَّتِی یَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن شَیْءٍ لَّمَّا جَاءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّکَ وَمَا زَادُوهُمْ غَیْرَ تَتْبِیبٍ ﴿هود: ١٠١﴾   

It was not We that wronged them: They wronged their own souls: the deities, other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them no whit when there issued the decree of thy Lord: Nor did they add aught (to their lot) but perdition! (11: 101) 

 (۱۰) أَفَلَمْ یَسِیرُوا فِی الْأَرْضِ فَیَنظُرُوا کَیْفَ کَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِینَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ کَانُوا أَکْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَآثَارًا فِی الْأَرْضِ فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا کَانُوا یَکْسِبُونَ ﴿غافر: ٨٢﴾   

Do they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were more numerous than these and superior in strength and in the traces (they have left) in the land: Yet all that they accomplished was of no profit to them. (40: 82) 

 (۱۱) وَقَالَ یَا بَنِیَّ لَا تَدْخُلُوا مِن بَابٍ وَاحِدٍ وَادْخُلُوا مِنْ أَبْوَابٍ مُّتَفَرِّقَةٍ وَمَا أُغْنِی عَنکُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مِن شَیْءٍ إِنِ الْحُکْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ عَلَیْهِ تَوَکَّلْتُ وَعَلَیْهِ فَلْیَتَوَکَّلِ الْمُتَوَکِّلُونَ ﴿یوسف: ٦٧﴾   

Further he said: "O my sons! enter not all by one gate: enter ye by different gates. Not that I can profit you aught against Allah (with my advice): None can command except Allah: On Him do I put my trust: and let all that trust put their trust on Him." (12: 67) 

 (۱۲) وَلَقَدْ مَکَّنَّاهُمْ فِیمَا إِن مَّکَّنَّاکُمْ فِیهِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ سَمْعًا وَأَبْصَارًا وَأَفْئِدَةً فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُهُمْ وَلَا أَفْئِدَتُهُم مِّن شَیْءٍ إِذْ کَانُوا یَجْحَدُونَ بِآیَاتِ اللَّهِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا کَانُوا بِهِ یَسْتَهْزِئُونَ ﴿الأحقاف: ٢٦﴾   

And We had firmly established them in a (prosperity and) power which We have not given to you (ye Quraish!) and We had endowed them with (faculties of) hearing, seeing, heart and intellect: but of no profit to them were their (faculties of) hearing, sight, and heart and intellect, when they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah; and they were (completely) encircled by that which they used to mock at! (46: 26)
