تَصُومُوا فَلْیَصُمْهُ

صَوْمًا وَالصَّائِمِینَ وَالصَّائِمَاتِ 

 ترجمه  

 (۱) یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا کُتِبَ عَلَیْکُمُ الصِّیَامُ کَمَا کُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِینَ مِن قَبْلِکُمْ لَعَلَّکُمْ تَتَّقُونَ ﴿البقرة: ١٨٣﴾   

O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint,- (2: 183) 

 (۲) فَکُلِی وَاشْرَبِی وَقَرِّی عَیْنًا فَإِمَّا تَرَیِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِی إِنِّی نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُکَلِّمَ الْیَوْمَ إِنسِیًّا ﴿مریم: ٢٦﴾   

"So eat and drink and cool (thine) eye. And if thou dost see any man, say, 'I have vowed a fast to (Allah) Most Gracious, and this day will I enter into not talk with any human being'" (19: 26) 

 (۳) فَمَن لَّمْ یَجِدْ فَصِیَامُ شَهْرَیْنِ مُتَتَابِعَیْنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن یَتَمَاسَّا فَمَن لَّمْ یَسْتَطِعْ فَإِطْعَامُ سِتِّینَ مِسْکِینًا ذَٰلِکَ لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتِلْکَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَلِلْکَافِرِینَ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمٌ ﴿المجادلة: ٤﴾   

And if any has not (the wherewithal), he should fast for two months consecutively before they touch each other. But if any is unable to do so, he should feed sixty indigent ones, this, that ye may show your faith in Allah and His Messenger. Those are limits (set by) Allah. For those who reject (Him), there is a grievous Penalty. (58: 4) 

 (۴) أَیَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن کَانَ مِنکُم مَّرِیضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَیَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَلَى الَّذِینَ یُطِیقُونَهُ فِدْیَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْکِینٍ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَیْرًا فَهُوَ خَیْرٌ لَّهُ وَأَن تَصُومُوا خَیْرٌ لَّکُمْ إِن کُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿البقرة: ١٨٤﴾   

(Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew. (2: 184) 

 (۵) شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِی أُنزِلَ فِیهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَیِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنکُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْیَصُمْهُ وَمَن کَانَ مَرِیضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَیَّامٍ أُخَرَ یُرِیدُ اللَّهُ بِکُمُ الْیُسْرَ وَلَا یُرِیدُ بِکُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُکْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُکَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاکُمْ وَلَعَلَّکُمْ تَشْکُرُونَ ﴿البقرة: ١٨٥﴾   

Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful. (2: 185)
